About Us

I founded Common Ground Engineering PLLC to provide specialized electrical engineering consulting services across New York State. With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, I bring a decade of experience in electrical design, code consulting, and arc flash analysis. As a licensed FAA UAS pilot, I also provide drone inspection services for electrical equipment and facilities.

My experience includes electrical design for mid-rise and high-rise residential buildings in New York, commercial projects including warehouse facilities, assisted living facilities, and commercial photovoltaic systems up to 5MW AC. I have designed electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, and ARCS for numerous projects throughout my career.

My primary focus is electrical code consulting and arc flash analysis, helping clients ensure NEC compliance and worker safety through comprehensive NFPA 70E studies. I also provide power system analysis services including short circuit analysis and protective device coordination using SKM PowerTools for large industrial facilities.

My background includes experience at MEP consulting firms where I coordinated multidiscipline designs and handled permitting for residential and commercial projects. I have also designed assisted living facilities and commercial photovoltaic systems, and provide power system analysis services for large industrial facilities.

Common Ground Engineering works closely with architects, contractors, and facility managers to deliver reliable, safe, and efficient electrical systems that meet both technical and regulatory requirements. I am licensed as a Professional Engineer in New York State and certified in SKM PowerTools, with additional qualifications including OSHA 30, NYC SST, and e-Hazard T.T.T. LV+HV.
